Sustainable Urban Horticulture and Agriculture Handbook
Library Information
Library Card
If this is your first semester in the Urban Horticulture or Agriculture program, you will receive a library card. On it you will find your Open Learning program student ID number. This card will be valid from the first to the last day of classes. It can be used to access the University of Guelph library in person or if you live near another university library, you may be entitled to borrow books from them by using your Urban Horticulture or Agriculture library card, if they have a reciprocal borrowing privilege agreement with the University of Guelph.
Please retain your library card as it will be automatically validated should you register in future semesters. If you require a replacement card, a fee of $20.00 will apply.
Library Privileges
As an Urban Horticulture or Agriculture program student, you have electronic access to the library’s academic collections. As well, your course may make use of electronic reserve material provided by them. Please review the detailed information about the Library’s services for distance education students.
